As we announce the 2018 Div. A teams, I want to take this moment to thank the over 220 kids who came out to compete for a spot on one of the eight Div. A teams. OMYSA has a bounty of talent and it was not easy to select the final teams. Everyone who showed up are winners. Whether you made Div. A or will be playing in our B program, soccer in the Mission has never looked brighter. I also want to thank the organizers and evaluators who made this all possible.
Below are the links to each of the teams. If you were selected for a Div. A team you will be contacted shortly on how to register. This year Div. A is $50 more than Div B to cover additional training throughout the season. The Board has made the commitment that Div. A will not be funded by our normal program. It must stand on its own in fairness to all.
If you were not selected please take solace in the fact that any team you will be on will be stronger for your participation. Do not be discouraged. House soccer, whether Div. A or B, is about having fun, making friends, learning to improve, and playing as a team. Important skills in life and not dependent on where you play but only that you play your best. Please proceed to register before the end of the month when registration ends.
